Anyone who enjoys an active holiday will feel right at home at our campsite. Thanks to its special location, our site is the perfect starting point for a wide range of activities.
Hiking and cycling trips through the stunning surroundings are especially popular with our guests. Whether you prefer easy walks in the valley or challenging tours in the high mountains, the Vinschgau region has something to offer for every taste and level of experience.
Whether you prefer gentle walks or challenging mountain hikes, the hiking opportunities in the Vinschgau are as diverse as the valley itself. The Waalwege in the Upper Vinschgau run along historic irrigation channels. These paths are mostly flat or gently sloping, making them especially attractive for leisure hikers, families, and seniors.
In contrast, the trails in more alpine terrain lead across wide alpine pastures, mountain meadows, and sometimes steeper paths. They offer more demanding routes for experienced hikers and mountain enthusiasts.
Discover the diversity of the Vinschgau by bike!
Casual riders enjoy leisurely trips through the wide valley floor, for example along the 80 km-long Vinschgau cycle path. This route leads through blooming apple orchards and charming villages, stretching from Lake Reschen in the north all the way to southern Merano.
Those who prefer to climb higher will appreciate the many marked forest roads and mountain passes. For experienced road cyclists, the Stelvio Pass is an ideal destination. With 48 hairpin bends and an altitude of 2,757 meters, the Stelvio Pass is one of the most impressive Alpine passes in Europe. Once every summer, the road is closed to motorized traffic and is exclusively open to cyclists.

Popular spots include the rustic Rojental valley and the expansive Schlinig valley, which connects to the Engadin through the Uina Gorge. Hundreds of kilometers of marked forest roads lead you to mountain peaks, alpine huts, and beautiful viewpoints.
