On this day, the famous mountain pass road is dedicated entirely to cyclists.
With no car traffic, riders can pedal up the winding switchbacks all the way to the Stelvio Pass. A highlight for active cyclists, offering fantastic mountain views.
In Schluderns, everything revolves around the Middle Ages this weekend. The event features knightly tournaments, jesters, falconry, music, market stalls, and plenty of activities for families. The big parade through Schluderns takes place on Saturday (August 22), showcasing knights, horses, carriages, and acrobats.
In the Vinschgau Valley, traditional weekly markets are a vibrant part of local life. On different days, they offer fresh regional products straight from the farm, as well as handcrafted goods made of wood, leather, or felt.

In addition to the weekly markets, the Vinschgau Valley hosts numerous annual and traditional markets that offer much more than just shopping – they are social gatherings, celebrations, and cultural experiences all in one.
The S. Veit Market is a traditional festival held at Tartscher Bühel, featuring regional specialties and handcrafted goods. It’s a place to come together, socialize, and keep old traditions alive.
One of the oldest autumn markets in the Vinschgau. Amidst market stalls and music, visitors can enjoy regional products and the vibrant atmosphere of village life.
This historic market is deeply rooted in the history of the town of Glurns. A calm, traditional market with a special atmosphere to mark the end of the year.
