Explore the Venosta Valley by bike
Discover the beauty of the Venosta Valley on two wheels. Leisurely cyclists can enjoy easy-going tours along the wide valley floor, for example along the 80 km-long Venosta cycle path. Running past blossoming apple orchards and picturesque villages all the way from the lake Resia in the north to the Merano region in the south, it offers the ideal opportunity to discover the scenic beauty of the region and to visit many of its cultural highlights.
For those who prefer a biking challenge at higher elevations, the region boasts a wealth of signposted forest trails and mountain pass routes. For further information take a look at the “Summit biking” section.
Tip for our guests: There is a bike rental outlet (one of many in the area) right next to the campsite. There you can hire a bike which you can return at any of the “South Tyrol Bike” station along the cycle route. Cycling enthusiasts can also purchase a “BikemobilCard”, a special combined ticket which enables you to rent a bike and make use of the railway and buses.
